15.5 MW PRIME POWER EPC PROJECT

In 2018 we completed a 15 MW prime power EPC project on a remote peninsula of Alaska for a large gold mine operation. The project location was as challenging as any environment in the world. All items had to be shipped to the project by barge. The facility was designed to withstand seismic loads as well as extreme snow loads and 100+mph winds.

In addition to the critical redundancy the power plant control system was designed with pre- dictive and preventative maintenance features that notify the operator of irregularities in operation prior to becoming an issue. The entire power plant has remote monitoring and operation capability. The facility was built and commissioned in just under a year.
